So, my first post and I have no idea what I should write!
I wanted to acknowledge that this is the first post on Kate Louise, but at the same time I cannot quite figure out what to say, or how to even start this post! So I figured I should just take a breath and write. Explain the reason behind this blog and why I am here, sound good? Okay, here it goes...
But rest assured, Kate Louise will mainly be focussed around bullet journalling, because well, what can I say... I am obsessed! I picked up my first notebook for bullet journaling in February 2016 and have been faithful to the system ever since. It's the first time I have truly loved using a planner and for sure the first time I have stuck to planning, and the difference it has made!! I am so much happier now than I was at the beginning of 2016 when my life felt as though it was going backwards, I am now so much more focused on every aspect of my life.
If you have not heard of the bullet journal before I would highly recommend you head on over to Ryder Carroll's website bulletjournal.com where you can really get your teeth into bones of the bullet journal. I will of course explain the best I can on Kate Louise, but his website is so clear and easy to follow its seems silly trying to write something here that is no where near as perfect. So take a quick detour and head on over, but just beware, once you enter the world of bullet journalling there is a good chance you will become as obsessed as I am!
Anyway, I will stop my ramblings before I put you all off from ever returning but before I head off I very quickly want to say thank you. Not just for sticking around long enough to read my first post but to all of you who have headed on over here from Instagram, because without you I would have never had the confidence to write this post or start this blog. I have little expectations from this blog but I just really wanted to give something back to the community that has made me feel most myself. The bullet journal community was the first place I was able to talk about the things I love - planning and stationary without raised eyebrows and quickly followed by the question of 'wouldn't you rather spend your money on other things?'. It's because of all of you that there is a place where I really fit in. Thank you.
Okay, so first post complete I think, and I have to be honest, I feel a little relieved to have gotten all of this into words. Now I can start writing about bullet journals until my heart is content!
Thanks so much for reading!
